M-Pesa Foundation Academy is inviting economically disadvantaged students in Kenya to apply for its 2023 scholarship program. The scholarship is open to Class 8 candidates who will sit for their KCPE in November 2023.
Interested candidates can get M-Pesa Foundation Academy scholarship application forms from the academy’s website, any Safaricom shop, the academy in Thika, or through KEPSHA via their primary school headteachers. Candidates should submit their completed application forms, along with required documents, either in-person at any Safaricom shop or the academy, or online as a single PDF file.
The deadline for submitting applications is May 15, 2023.
Admission is evaluated using the following criteria:
• Academic Excellence
• Leadership and entrepreneurship potential
• Financial need
• Responsible citizenship
• Critical thinking
• Problem-solving skills
The M-Pesa Foundation Academy scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation, meals, uniforms, stationery, and a laptop for the four-year secondary education program.
