The National Association of Science Writers organizes the Science in Society Journalism Awards.
The contest recognizes investigative or interpretive reporting about the sciences and their impact on modern society.
Works must have been published or broadcast in 2024.
The categories are books, commentary, science reporting, science features, long-form narratives and series.
The winners in each category will receive US$2,000.
The deadline is Feb. 1.
