Being among the 99% is undesirable.
Most geniuses are in the 1% bracket or so they say. That leaves the rest in the masses bracket of the undesirable. But not to worry, if you’re one among them, there is always a way to stand out and where the masses are is where the most value will always arise.
Do you believe you have to be a genius like Einstein to invent the next big thing? Do you have to be a genius writer or entrepreneur to earn a million bucks per month?
I don’t believe so.
You don’t need to be born in the 1% bracket to create huge productivity or bring life to something amazing.
You just have to be different in three ways;
– See
– Think
– and Act differently.
How?
#1. See Differently
See a problem that needs solving yet is comfortable to most people i.e., traveling by plane is expensive. Is it because of its expensive fuel or the cost of a plane itself? Is there a need to innovate further in this industry?
What can we do? This leads to the next step.
#2. Think differently
If a Boeing plane consumes 240 liters per minute, what can we do to make it consume less? Should we improve its combustion engine or should we find an alternative source of fuel it can fly on? Or rather, if we could make our planes fly without using runways, wouldn’t it make air travel so easily accessible and in the long run cheaper for most people? If air travel is expensive and still slow, can we invent a much faster means of transport than airplanes?
But what comes next after all these great thoughts?
#3. Act Differently
Pick a thought and act on it. Differently! If I’m going to improve the engine of a plane to consume less fuel, where would I start? I can research and develop a prototype that I can sell to airplane companies. But what if I don’t have the resources or the skills for the R&D? I’m going to partner with an engineer or an idealist. If there are no funds, I can pitch my idea to an aviation firm.
Act differently till you come up with a solution.
I chose the plane concept since I like planes and hope to make futuristic endeavors in that arena someday. For you, it could be anything that is important to you or where you see a problem that if solved could create big change or make you rich. It could be your career, a thought, invention, or anything else that you desire to improve on.
You don’t have to be a genius.
You just have to be different about it and remain the normal amazing self you are as you watch yourself join the cool 1% peeps.
Be different.
Stay different.
