Journalists, filmmakers, and multimedia content creators in Kenya have a remarkable opportunity to bring narratives from the Global South to the forefront through the One World Media fellowship program. This esteemed initiative offers a production grant of $1000 Pounds, (approximately KES 153,000), to ten exceptional international fellows.
The One World Media fellowship seeks proposals from non-fiction media professionals across various platforms, including film, print, audio, photojournalism, and multimedia. Successful applicants will not only receive the substantial grant but will also benefit from invaluable mentorship, training, and networking opportunities.
This fellowship presents a unique chance for Kenyan storytellers to shed light on the diverse experiences, challenges, and triumphs of communities often underrepresented in mainstream media. By amplifying these voices, Kenyan creatives can contribute to a more inclusive and nuanced understanding of the Global South.
The deadline for submissions is March 21st.
