Humentum, a global nonprofit working with civil society on accountability and equitable development, has opened expressions of interest for a three-day convening in Nairobi, “From Blueprint to Action: Health Civil Society Convening in Kenya,” running 29 to 31 July 2026.
The convening will bring together selected civil society actors to refine a shared blueprint and build practical plans around four priority areas:
– Civil society representation in health decision-making spaces
– Joint advocacy on health outcomes, budgets, and policies
– Formal partnerships and ways of working with government
– Coordination and collaboration across civil society networks
The call is open to health civil society actors in Kenya, including community-based and youth-led groups working on issues like youth health and community-led monitoring.
What’s covered:
Selected participants get a 150 USD honorarium, plus venue, facilitation, and meals during the convening. Travel and accommodation are not covered, and the honorarium isn’t meant to fully offset participation costs. Only apply if you can commit to all three days in Nairobi.
